SuccessFactors constantly stated they would invest heavily into Plateau and initially, vast improvement was to be found. That is not a good sign.

While they can pitch themselves anywhere they want with user size, I see them more in the 10,000 plus user category. Pricing is high.

Their product is more geared towards a human capital management system, especially with the BizX Suite. Back in the days, the Plateau platform was ghastly awful. 4 IMC-AG Clix Learning Suite. The user interface has come a long way. Not sure how SAP will eventually impact the system, but for today it stands strong.

Are they better suited than anyone else for Enterprise or Extended Enterprise? SuccessFactors – Just for those folks to remember, SF is owned by SAP and had acquired Plateau. They haven’t been Plateau for a few years, so stop calling them Plateau – a pet peeve of mine. SF is underwhelming in my book.

I do not like outdated courses, including those where everyone at the company is wearing a suit and formal business wear. If you loved Plateau learning I can see the excitement for this solution. Nor do I like the constant pitch of micro-learning, as something recent – it is not. I was doing it in 2000 and so were others.

I’m not sure what you will look like by the end of 2020 – perhaps a combo of SAP Litmos and you or a re-brand with feature sets for everyone, and not just Enterprise, which uh, SAP Litmos does as well, but SuccessFactors is ideally suited for employees, and only for folks who I think have SAP to begin with.
