SumTotal seems to have the same issue as Cornerstone, when it comes to metrics/analytics – a lot there, bad UI/UX.

Never hear it, even though Blackboard has been around since the late 90’s (as online that is). . But flip over onto corporate and the floodgates open. I am still at a loss on why people buy SuccessFactors for learning. .

While I still have some concerns on the game plan of SAP with SuccessFactors in the long term, there is just no way not to include them in the top ten systems. It is way better than anything Plateau ever did, but for the amount of money the system costs and the fact SAP now owns them, there is no reason that the UI should look like it does.

If you are someone who is considering some of the bigger dogs like Cornerstone or SumTotal, I would seriously look at these guys. I have some concerns about how SAP will play with them (right now they are separate, but who knows). I dislike that the platform does not automatically include at no charge a SSO between it and SAP.

Not sure how SAP will eventually impact the system, but for today it stands strong. The user interface has come a long way. Back in the days, the Plateau platform was ghastly awful.
