You can put the audio or video inside a SCORM course and load it into an LMS. Given the small audience and limited scope, likely a Rapid Learning Management System would make a lot of sense if that was the direction. They are not used to connecting via an LMS. They have a licensed LMS, but want to move away from it and build a custom LMS that meets their specific needs. Is it a good idea to start with an open source LMS ?

New Kind of LMS?

Some interesting thinking going on by Lee Kraus and Mark Oehlert around where the LMS is going to need to go if we really are going to allow for small content chunks that can be quickly accessed. I personally think that the LMS is quickly being relegated to longer, developmental activities and compliance activities.
