One thing I used to hear quite a bit from brand new users of Adobe Captivate was that it was fairly difficult to get started and many times I heard that once they started their first project, staring at the blank slide canvas was intimidating. Articulate Presenter was around well before eHelp (one of the leading companies) was purchased by Macromedia that was purchased by Adobe. I especially like the intuitive gestures included in Draft for placing squares, triangles and circles on slides, as well as more powerful objects, such as text, images, video, audio and web objects, all with a simple finger gesture on the screen. My first impressions, when I tested responsive projects was why limit break points to just three.

It’s hard to image a time when Social Media did not exist, but I was thinking about when Macromedia acquired eHelp Corporation in 2003, then makers of RoboHelp and Captivate, and how almost immediately the company let us all go, and in that single day, I was completely incommunicado with business contacts I had made.
