Share a presentation on your screen (prezi or powerpoint) and provide an explanation. Besides the classical use of screencasts to explain the use of a computer program you can think of other ways to use screencasts: Show people how to use an online platform or wiki for instance (a so-called 'walk through'). Make a visual storyline.

A teacher provides video lessons to be reviewed outside of class, which in turn gives teachers more time in class to focus on higher-order skills. I have been a Camtasia fan for a long time, as well as a SnagIt and Jing fan and I’m also very impressed with the work TechSmith is doing on Mobile. What Else is New? Conclusion.

I’ve become a big fan of the site, readitfor.me , which provides "the world’s most engaging book summaries" in video form. Note: The image below links to a large version of one of the videos.). Jing is a screen-capture and screencasting tool that I’ve mentioned before.

I also like to make occasional visits to Google Labs and Adobe Labs to "keep up" with the tech tools they are working on and to test drive any beta versions available. Many of the blogs I follow are part of the eLearningLearning community. So, I browsed "Tools" by keyword on eLearningLearning.
