TechSmith Camtasia: Device Frames = Awesomeness

Using TechSmith Camtasia, you can easily add or record software demonstrations, add them to the Timeline, and export as a video or interactive eLearning. In the image below, I've imported a video demonstration to my Media Bin and added it to the Camtasia Timeline. Even cooler? and even download additional frames.

TechSmith Camtasia: Multiple Object Formatting Made Easy

In the image below, notice that there are two tracks. A locked track is easily identifiable on the Timeline thanks to the diagonal lines (as shown in the image below). In the image below, all of the callouts in Track 1 are selected. On the Callouts panel, I changed the color of the selected callouts to Purple.

TechSmith recently released Camtasia 2018. You can purchase the software directly from TechSmith or try the software free for 30 days via the trial download ). While I do like the tools separated (this is how they were listed in older versions of Camtasia), this minor change isn't anything to get overly excited about.

TECHSMITH CAMTASIA: Extending Video Frames

After adding a video asset to the Timeline in Camtasia, it's likely you'll want to freeze a specific part of the video to allow for other Timeline objects to appear (such as annotations or images).   In the image below, I've added a video to Track 1 on my Timeline.
