Once I have analysed the data, I am usually able to arrive at some conclusions and write some form of report, which is likely to include a set of recommendations that I hope will benefit my community of practice. Such findings should be published widely to inform the entire community. This is the way it should be.

Managers should support and energize communities, not neglect and ignore them.

This adds to the confidence of the new employee, while involuntarily introducing the person who answered the question. Encourage key employees to maintain a “reflective practice” journal and share with peers and juniors. Online support questions need to be answered and mentored in a “community of practice” manner.
