None of these tools will work if you don’t spend significant time engaging with the business–engaging learners, change management. Get experts to share, make it easy for them. Integrates JIT learning from their Books 24X7 site.

No access to Elluminate. Chat messaging on Elluminate was working OK, but not the best medium for presenting a live talk. I lost Elluminate completely (again). These are the structures that constrain education and stop learners from achieving their full potential. I came in two hours early, tested out the system.

The blend included a wide range of elements: Commitment to a learner's and manager's contract before the start of the course. Coaching sessions with the learner's manager, before and after each unit of the course. Individual and collaborative activities, including learner blogs, managed using Moodle.

Firewalls and restrictive corporate environments caused us considerable grief: Yahoo Groups were restricted in some corporate environments, Elluminate did not work through several firewalls, we had to switch to WebEx and that really goofed up the start of the course; Yahoo Toolbar (for MyWeb ) couldn't be installed on locked desktops.
