Every LMS vendor should have a standard regarding response times, when they receive an inquiry via the internet. I know of one vendor who responds within 30 minutes of receiving an inquiry. One vendor who isn’t on the list, for multitude of reasons, accepts over 25 payment gateways — that is enormous in size for this industry. There are vendors who include a payment gateway for those who don’t have one, but the catch is that they charge a transaction fee along with point of sales per item sold fee.

So, P2P hits mainstream, okay, quite a few vendors. I see some vendors including a note or comment capability to the content curation, especially with the mobile video. I’ve yet to see this extensive set of options, but I do believe that some vendor (at least a few) will offer some type of capabilities, although not as robust.

That said, there were some hiccups and from an entire vendor wise (expo here) angle, some unique and some, uh. This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . I see way too many vendors think a web site is all they need and people will find them.

Thus by saying Tin Can repeatedly, I was doing you an injustice, since in essence I was putting out a brand name by one vendor. I expect an increase in the number of LMS vendors to have responsive.

Lots of vendor booths. One vendor told me it was 296, another said, 260. I did see one vendor who bought a booth and never showed up (G-Cube). Vendors who were in certain sections (I counted Seven sections), seemed to have more humans than say others. Regardless, there were a lot.
