If they were a vendor who played in EdTech (K-12, HE) but also played into corporate and did so, not just by having clients find them, but actively through marketing, they were considered too. Strictly If the vendor was a custom shop building a system, off say Moodle or whatever code they are using that is open source? There are three ways in which you can use an open source LMS: Go to a vendor who has rebranded, modified the open source LMS as its own and provides managed hosting services on that or also deploys behind the firewall. There are plenty of vendors who do NOT support the latest versions of iOS and Android – and on a side note, I found two vendors who told me that they didn’t support the latest versions – and it was only after I asked them. .

Folks seem fine with the vendor noting how awesome their support is, without extracting any metrics or verifiable data. . I know I have.
