I found several very high quality developers at several levels in 2007. This is probably my biggest failure for 2007.

2009 Predictions How Did I Do?

So, I think the first part about growth of wikis, discussions, social networks for collaborative learning is right on the mark. 2008 was an interesting year that saw a myriad of new start-ups offering content through interesting new avenues.

These learners would go through online courseware for about 6 hours that would teach them about the software and test them using simulations. Once all five people were done with the courseware, the instructor would schedule a WebEx and go through the questions.
