Wachovia is testing social networking for sharing information and developing community within the community. Right now, this is “Tier 1″ Proprietary with some customization (like Facebook & MySpace). Haven’t you see MySpace, facebook and blogs. isn’t a top-down exchange of information, so learning 2.0 They’re obsessed by diary keeping. Learning 2.0 Strategy : eLearning Technology. 7 aspects of learning 2.0 This makes sense; web 2.0 shouldn’t work best with that kind of hierarchy either.

Answer: Be a consumer of good information. Answer: Several favorites: Cheryl Sandberg (COO Facebook) is one. Sometimes a slide does need more information. They usually do printouts for dense information so they walk away with it rather than trying to cram it on a slide. What are ways people can invest in their skills?

High quality information from guest hosts. She had not used a chat room, IM, Facebook, or MySpace before joining a site called OurPrayer.org. Invited 10 students (10th grade) and 5 guest hosts (employees of school/church). Successes: Idea received positively by students. Students did thoughtful posts. Good feedback from students.

Think of the student who was disciplined for the Facebook study group shows the culture clash. Carriers will get in the way with the free flow of information and research. The role of teacher as source of information and measurment is going to change. Administrators aren’t ready for that conversation at all.
