When someone says traditional, they often are referring to Cornerstone, SumTotal, Saba, SuccessFactors and alike. I say this, because when I talked to them, I was provided with different responses to what they were (i.e. Add a use case, provide some basics, and start the conversation. They are definitely not an LMS.

While their continues to be a slight increase in providing tech support and service for free (at least one year), the same cannot be said for e-commerce. You can share the content in Facebook with your Facebook friends. Why the increase? I believe it is because many of the vendors do not want their customers to have such power.
