His requirements for a PLE Framework include: Personalization Social features Social filtering I ncorporate various Web 2.0 The concept of a Personal Learning Environment Framework gets it even farther from some actual system. Luckily all of the requirements that Mohamed cites apply equally well to a PWLE.

So as you read this, keep in mind that Stephen was primarily talking about technology that can support a Formal Learning Event that heavily leverages Informal / Social Learning as it's primary mechanism. Monday, June 11, 2007 Personalization does not equal Personal Ive been catching up this morning on all the recent PLE posts, particularly Tom Haskins recent entries. This got me thinking more about the words "personal" and "personalization". But that does not equal a Personal Learning Environment.
