For example, I like Thought Industries as a customer training LMS, but the platform is missing items for NexGen, which is suprising because it has the modern UI, which folks would thus assume, oh, it must be NexGen. . That is something to say when you provide training or L&D to your employees and customers. Grovo already noted.

The Pathgather acquisition, was a total customer buy, despite what they may say. Oh, how we missed you – Grovo followed the same approach as Learn.com, and how well did that turn out exactly? Before diving into the functionality they all possess, I’d add a few points: They are ideally suited as a “bolt-on” to an LMS, while they can be a standalone, in nearly all cases the vendors have told me, that the majority of their customers already have an LMS. With SEPs the focus is on sales training, but many of them have and push customer service/support training too. No one is going to give you numbers lower than 85%, and even that is rare. I removed any vendor built 100% on free open source or open source whereas it is always 100% customized so that one could build a mega monster or build a 1995 version. I could say six, if I include Grovo, but I see them right now as a learning system without clear definition. Customer support folks use the product too (or can).
