Yesterday I published the first of my Web feats - the social bookmarking tool Delicious. Today, I want to talk about another of my favourite Web 2.0 tools: Slideshare. I first discovered Slideshare about 2 years ago when I was looking for somewhere to store all my content. I quickly discovered that once my slide shows were posted on Slideshare , people came in to view them, and sometimes even commented on them.

How much do you freely share on the Web? If you are a user of any Web 2.0 My digital footprint grows each time I post new content, whether it's on this blog, one of my Flickr accounts, or YouTube, Facebook , LinkedIn or Slideshare. I have given away a lot of my content on the web - see for example my Slideshare collection of slideshows and published articles. I also love the way that you can publish your slides to Slideshare from within 280, email it or get a link and/or embed code. just from your desktop but from the Web as well. I had posted before about SlideRocket and how kewl and shiny it is (I still think its cool and shiny) but now I've also done an initial glance at 280 Slides and while it may be a bit less shiny.I think that users might find it more comfortable to use.

Content curation: a way to increase the power of your e-learning course.


The first thing we do is collect and organize the content we have scattered about in different repositories and formats: texts that appear on our website, presentations we share in Google Drive or Slideshare , Youtube or Vimeo videos, different PDFs , etc. What would happen if we could embed that content directly into our course?
