A key factor is that Skillsoft has acquired many course providers in the past and with that have good and bad mixed together. Skillsoft I find is very flexible in this regard (as a whole). Course standards include xAPI and PENS, besides the standards of SCORM. . No, but then again, this is an issue with many course providers including Lynda.com and Skillsoft. . Uses intelligence components for content authoring with dynamic themes that take care of the details for you. Publish directly to an LMS and LRS if you so choose.

The system supports every course standard including xAPI and PENS, but misses out on an LRS and content marketplace. 33 Percipio by Skillsoft – An LEP/LXP that does quite a bit, very good UI and UX. If those items are nothing burgers for you, then this is a system to consider. #33

SumTotal by Skillsoft. For folks who use their product, I was told by a salesperson that xAPI is not on their radar, nor is any type of on/off synch mobile app. . SumTotal by Skillsoft (Part two). Standard adoption takes time (as we can see with xAPI), so if you are concerned or worried about having to go with CMI-5, etc. I as many folks constantly referred to xAPI as Tin Can, but recently say in the past month, I found out that Tin Can was a trademarked name by Rustici Software. – don’t. I think xAPI has managed to do that, but I don’t see SCORM disappearing anytime soon. When I was with GeoLearning, I worked with a 2-developer team and they finished and polished their implementation into Maestro (now SumTotal/Skillsoft Maestro) in less than 4 weeks of development time.
