A common argument I’m hearing from vendors on why they do not offer a social learning component in their system. &# “Companies are blocking social media access at their site and/or have social media governance policies&#. 35 tablets by the end of Q2 2011, on top of the 30+ already in the market. In 2011, I saw quite a few items that resonated. One company even went so far as inviting me to speak on the topic to their L&D group. Another Apple patent includes allowing users via touch free gesturing to move content from one device to another (example from your iPad to your television). Social Learning.

Oh, another key reason: the Ipad. I will not include the Ipad in this, because a)it is really heavy, b) too me it is more of a tablet, that will include e-reader capabilities. However, on the true “e-reader&# field, they range (for the most part) in the 6″ to 7″ field, but the Kindle DX is 9.7″ Screen Size.
