Then Cornerstone came along and bought SumTotal for peanuts, which was a good idea, and here we are with SumTotal. However, ND never hit its stride and had the potential to do so – the very first vendor, whereas you could use part of it via a jump drive (true). This has always been a challenge with various vendors, especially today, where turnkey (out of the box) is the standard, a few tweaks included, and thus implementation times are very short (a plus). You may have to buy for multi-tenant, or e-commerce functionality, or additional add-ons, if the vendor offers it. Commercial is fee-based. It will be lower.
