Even the Mayor of London joined in with the discussion. In an interesting episode last year, I personally experienced the power of the viral web through Wikipedia Commons. I took several pictures of Punk Godfather Malcolm McLaren when he spoke at Handheld Learning 2009 in London. Let's hope it will be for the better.

Capturing the moment

The picture of me on the left was taken around 1980 (from another photo collection), capturing a personal moment in time for me. It is now so much easier to create, edit, and share images over social media. I wonder what happened to that old combat jacket? Photography is now more or less instant. That is priceless.

Large plenaries are presented with guest speakers in lecture theatres, and then they are split into 6 or 7 smaller seminar groups where discussion, debate, and other forms of discursive learning are supported. They also use them to capture images and sounds during the lecture for reference later on. Unported License.
