Online/offline synchronization for mobile learning with tablets – The number one request I receive from my consumer clients is whether they system has a m-learning app that works with tablets and online/offline synchronization. A couple of vendors told me they think it will be a fad. Expect it to continue.

As a training or learning executive, you open up new training scenarios (if you were to use voice as the response mechanism, rather than someone merely typing in or clicking a button in a course, or posting their thoughts on a discussion board). Combination of synchronous and asynchronous features. Most systems in the education space are still strongly focused on synchronous based learning. They do offer a higher education version, but this is all about K-12. This has always been a personal fav of mine, and its primary version K-6 is fantastic. Frog Trade.

Choose quickly between a simple streamlined version and their advanced – IMO, I would use their advanced. Tin Can API with online/offline synchronization – AWESOME! M-Learning offers online/offline synchronization. M-Learning – can view on tablets, including iPad. Easy to use. 6 IMC-AG Clix.

This version ($40/u/m) is geared towards the instructional designer/developer. SaaS product – but here’s the thing – if you want the course to be in your LMS – it can but it still sits on the ZZ server side and not in your system (should note that the LMS connectivity is available only in the $40/u version).

Video goes in and out with the audio – They explain it has to do with the latest version of Flash, but how about coming up with an alternative. The timeline enables you to move around the slides and synchronize them to whatever you have added. Under Synchronization. Problems with recording audio. See an example below.
