This has come just in time for mLearning implementers; there is a new tool out in Google Labs called Swiffy that let’s one convert flash animation (swf files) to a device independent HTML5. Simply put, this will allow existing libraries of flash animation content to be ported to devices that run iOS – iPhones, iPads, and iPods.

My friend and colleague, Connie Malamed (aka The eLearning Coach ) has developed a handy iPhone application that will help you become a better instructional designer making tips, definitions and ideas available right at your finger tips. It seemed appropriate for performance support and it keeps the file size small, as this is a native app.

You can watch this interactive video (link below) on your desktop PC, iPad and iPhone (may be prompted to install the Smart Player app) and all the interactivity should work just fine. Watch this video and if you have an iPad or an iPhone watch it there too. All the interactivity works on multiple screens. Conclusion.

Hello, I have a responsive project file. Only on mobile device preview (galaxy s6, iphone, pixel, except ipad and desktop), the project and Captivate crashes at 50% during compiling asset progress bar and the error window appears. Is it because of file size so I have to break them out to two project files?

Keep file sizes relatively small. Be mindful of how many images you use and their sizes. Not only does audio make file sizes larger, but it will often be a wasted addition. Now I'd like to take a brief look at a few technical aspects to keep in mind when developing mLearning. Minimize the use of audio.
