Again, not every tool below is SaaS based, but at some point, you have to move to the SaaS world, especially if you are offering or saying you do – some type of mobile learning functionality. I’ve seen some authoring tools that fit most of the criteria above, but whose ease of use is substandard or even really bad.

Because if you are using a content authoring tool that is SCORM 2004, then you must find a system that is at least 2004. Your tool will not work with a 1.2. Unless you purchased a tool that is only AICC compliant, which in that case, time to ditch it and get another one. What about PENS or some other compliance standard?

Best Web Conferencing Tool. I’ve tried a lot of web conferencing tools and this one finally delivers. . Best Authoring Tool. They call themselves publishing platform, but first and foremost it is an authoring tool. Course standards include xAPI and PENS, besides the standards of SCORM. .

Compliance and Regulatory is similar to the LMS, but reduced significantly down, and built-in authoring tool exists as well (although most LEPs do not have one or if they do, it is similar to LMSs in that, it is basic to use). This is something that is being seen with some LMS vendors actually, and it should be something with LEPs.

Lots of vendor booths. One vendor told me it was 296, another said, 260. I did see one vendor who bought a booth and never showed up (G-Cube). Vendors who were in certain sections (I counted Seven sections), seemed to have more humans than say others. Regardless, there were a lot.
