When I attend conferences, I take lots of notes. One idea Nick Floro shared in this session was to use Google Analytics to track usage data on courses. I’m so used to thinking about just the data in the LMS that I hadn’t considered adding that little bit of Javascript to enable Google tracking for aggregate usage data.

The message is that we (L&D people) can do for our learners what Google and Facebook are already doing for us. This is the main trend I see at the conference.
