Rethinking Learning Styles

Clark Quinn

I’ve pointed out the problems with learning styles in the past, but I want to rethink them with you, as we took quite a positive out of them in a unique way. The LMS of the future: two predictions

Matrix

My first thought, however, was that if I ever got famous enough for a park bench to hold a quote of mine for years after I’m gone, the words would be: Whoever is tired of learning, is tired of life. Learning is a personal and ongoing process. We all learn, all the time.

Moving To eLearning

Upside Learning

I was trying to put together some of the key change factors leading organizations to adopt e-learning stand-alone and as a part of the training blend. Some of these change factors translate to simply ‘business needs’ which fuel the need for e-learning in the business. Without the appropriate need or a real business case for e-Learning, it may seem like another fad.

Content as a Service

Xyleme

For better or worse, the development of learning content has been a one-way push process. To make matters worse, for learners, the sole point of access to learning content has been the LMS. Social commenting and improved content quality.
