As social technology growth continues to march on and dynamic learning grows to be the need of the day, it is little surprise that social media has now become an integral part of learning as well.
Various elearning development companies are integrating the popular social media services like Twitter, YouTube etc. A couple of months back, the Adobe Captivate blog demonstrated a twitter widget that can be integrated within a Captivate Flash output to send a tweet (as questions/suggestions/comments etc.) right into their courses and LMS. about the content of a learning

I've been using Adobe Captivate for a while now and I am very happy with it for technical training projects but I can't help but wonder if other tools like Articulate may be a great addition to my toolbox. Since I already have Captivate, I need to determine whether it would be worth the investment to purchase new software when I may be able to get along just as well with what I already have. I'm hoping you can help me make this decision by commenting with your thoughts on the skill sets of Articulate, Captivate, or a different eLearning authoring tool altogether.

Question from a reader, hoping you can provide your thoughts: I am in the process of selecting an elearning tool that is easy to use, quick to create the demos and does not bloat the file size much. To present a moving demo I need to integrate another product called Viewlet cam. Makes it a bit harder to pull everything together. Camtasia and Adobe Captivate : Pros: Heard lots of good thing about them. Cons: Worried about file size for both of them The more I am researching, the more I am getting confused. ---- There are quite a few

I am working on developing eLearning technical training courses for an ERP software application being implemented within a division of the company I work for using Adobe Captivate 3. If you are familiar with Adobe Captivate then you are familiar with "Assesment Simulations." Captivate and the assessment simulations are a life saver for me because I can train them on the software without them actually having access to it. I love assessment simulations because they require the learner to do the clicking rather than just viewing a screen recording of the process.

I didn’t get to attend the Adobe Summit or DevLearn 2008 this week in San Jose, CA, and I’m totally jealous of everyone who got a sneak peek of Adobe Captivate 4.
