This week Steve Jobs has resigned as CEO of Apple. Born as an unwanted child of a teen age mother, adopted, college drop-out and then founder of Apple. Making Apple a huge success with the Apple II and the Macintosh and then he had to leave Apple in 1985. Due to his illness he is no longer capable to stay on.

Which isn’t to say that I didn’t have a case of techno-lust; I am a geek, a boy who loves his toys. Given that I already have an iPhone, which would meet immediate email, twitter, and/or web needs when not in WiFi range, I figured I could go with the first one coming out. So, I followed the developments closely.

Surprising was that, for 37% of respondents, the iPad was their first Apple purchase. When you consider the ubiquity of the iPod and the number of iPhone and MacBook users out there, this is providing Apple with a host of new potential customers for their other products. For many people it will be all they want.

Should I add, that there are are vendors who have a mobile app for iOS (iPhones) but still lack one for Android, even though the latter has over 70% market share worldwide? Even though, the employee should have read the directions). Should I write about the cost of VR headsets and again, the have and have-not is clearly defined as a result?
