While the former reflects the redesigning of workplace as a physical manifestation of this change with its focus on enabling communities and collaboration, the second one squarely focuses on empowering autonomous learning and facilitating the building of trusted networks. In theory, we know this is what will work in the long run.

Individuals will get their work done by talking to peers, reaching out to their network, and bringing their #pln and #pkm to work. Organizations can no longer exist in silos -- either internally or in relation to the external ecosystem. Cooperation and collaboration will yield greater benefits than competitiveness.

Next words I spoke were, "There are half a zillion " How to use Twitter " videos, pdfs, sites, posts, articles on the web. His matter-of-fact tone left me somewhat speechless.
