danah boyd opened ASTD TechKnowledge 2013 with a keynote on teenagers, networks, and work in the 21st century. Instead of coding, programmers built apps by mashing up shared packages of code. If a mashup produced a Frankenmonster, you threw it away and tried something else. danah has been studying teenagers for a decade.
