In that post, I told you how Adobe removed most of the outdated (Flash) SWF features. Specifically, Adobe has enhanced the Text-to-Speech feature. Choose Audio > Speech Management to open the Speech Management dialog box. The Speech Management dialog box reopens.

Adobe Flash, while falling out of favor quickly due to lack of wide mobile support, had made significant improvements to its Accessibility features over the years. In the earlier days of 508 requirements, conventional wisdom was to avoid Flash. Click “CC Project Settings” to change the overall CC text styles.

A learner can watch the steps in a procedure with text describing what is happening. Or, you can use audio using a recorded narration or text-to-speech technology. It is as if the learner is actually clicking in the system, but it includes text and/or audio to tell the learner what to do.
