If you'd like to repeat an object over a majority of your slides, one of the easiest ways to proceed is to select the object and, on the Properties panel, Timing group, select Display for rest of project. The rest of project option is compelling because it's so simple. By using the rest of project option, the object you selected will appear on every slide following the slide containing the original object. Using the Timing group, select Display for rest of project.

First, select any of the mouse pointers on any slide in your project. A simple-to-use but often overlooked Publish Setting is the ability to assign a password to published Captivate projects. To assign a password to a project, open a project and choose File > Publish Settings. From the Project group, select the Start and End preferences. Select Password Protect Project and then click the Options button to open the Password options dialog box. Preview the project and the first thing you will see is the Password screen.

You've produced your Captivate project in record time. The only thing left to do is Publish the project. Anyone who has published a Captivate project knows it is a simple process of choosing File > Publish and setting the appropriate options. It takes time for Captivate project to publish. Adobe ran some time trials on how long it took to publish a large project (254 slides) using Captivate 4. During that time, you cannot do anything in the project.
