FaceBook seems like such a student-world application, and yet folks say more and more "grown-ups" are using it. But its a start.

A chatbot can converse with you to perform a task. In Facebook Messenger you can get CNN news via a personalised chatmessage. Messaging apps are used to enter directly in a conversation with someone. Use a chatbot in the most frequently used IM tool in your organization to answer questions a routine sort of "Ask HR".

First off, I have to say that this entire PLE conversation hasnt really sparked much for me. Im a practical person at heart; not a theory-based one). It just seems like a no-duh. Karyn Romeis talked about "lifewide learning." Thats it, isnt it? So all the talk about tools and maps has struck me as odd. For me, I add -- why bother?
