The Average Joe imperative

E-Learning Provocateur

While I can’t hack into NASA, I’m confident enough to give any software a go and not be put off by shiny new toys. And so too, it would seem, was the rest of the L&D world. And so Second Life sailed off the edge of the virtual world.

The most recent one is from this September, at the release of the new iPhone 6S in Australia, when a robot called Lucy managed to get her virtual hands on one of the shiny new smartphones. Businesses can use these tools to provide a great customer experience for anyone that interacts with their brands and then use the stories that emerge to reach new possible clients.

Developing a real strategy for on-the-job learning

And, if we’re honest with ourselves, learning programs, even virtual ones, are often a form of performance art. We believe — having worked across many industries, geographies and years — that too many organizations around the world have “learning teams” dedicated to creating theater.
