Ive been reading e-Learning and the Science of Instruction (2003) by Ruth Clark and Richard Mayer. The old theory: Up until now, Ive gone along with that concept of learning styles , which the books authors tell me is based on the information delivery theory. Im pretty skeptical of learning styles stuff, frankly (and justifiably).

previous rants on this topic ) Until I get some explanations though, Im pretty well amazed at the academics involved in this scheme. Do the writers/authors get paid? Im feeling stupid here because I just dont freaking get it! Usually the "peers" who review articles, arent paid or theyre paid very little.
