As many do, we storyboard projects in Word and PowerPoint. Recently, Lectora launched a new tool that integrates PowerPoint slides directly into a Lectora project. However, whatever is not done in PowerPoint will have to be manually constructed in the Lectora project. Plus, everything is done within PowerPoint.

If you can step away from the “bullet point” mindset and all of the complaints, you’ll see that PowerPoint’s got a lot to offer those who build elearning courses. It doesn’t need to have that PowerPoint look. PowerPoint offers a pretty good selection of animations that let you mimic a lot of what you see in Flash. Blank screen.

If you want to get started with mobile learning, all you need is PowerPoint. And that’s easy enough with PowerPoint output. An easy way to access your PowerPoint-to-Flash content on the iPad is via remote desktop. We use it for our product tutorials and PowerPoint tips. PowerPoint 2010 outputs the file as a video.
