Im just about to kickoff a new project with a manufacturing organization to produce some custom courses. Im gonna call them an "immature e-Learning organization." Michele -- youre stronger than most to turn down work, but Im sure its benefited you in the long run to NOT be affiliated with a failed project.

I think were in way too deep for that to happen.the benefits are there, the potential for good design and good solutions is there. Maybe Im smart enough that I would have said that anyway.but maybe not. A call for more blended solutions. Will including more games do the trick? Should we just return to the classroom? wait, Im getting verbose. The learner is very unlikely to benefit from it as it will be irrelevant to them at that point and it will simply impede the learning of the really important stuff. Im not sure if the SME was reading a script, reading the notes, or just speaking from the heart. Just like some songwriters benefit from having others interpret their songs (no matter how classic their originals), some SME's benefit tremendously from someone else articulating their powerful knowledge in a way they simply couldn't.

Other benefits of working with two monitors: 1) Have a source document open on one screen and be writing a proposal/storyboard/script on the other. Back to the Google Desktop -- Im playing around a bit with the searching capabilities and am seeing the light. So the search feature -- I get that and Im sold. Very useful feature.
