I don’t know if i am going mad, but i am pretty sure that in the past, i was able to add blank slides to the beginning of my software simulation, but I am no longer able to do so. I am also pretty sure that i could shuffle slides up and down in the filmstrip, but again, I am unable to do so as of a few days ago.

Scenario: You want to create a demo and training simulation. Conventional Captivate workflow will have you create two separate files. My solution: create only a training sim, then insert a software demo inside the training file ( add a video demo slide before the training slides). Hope this helps.

I am using adobe captivate to record software simulation training, but the software is not on a computer, it is on an app. Meaning that when the mouse goes to click on something it doesn’t show what it is going to click on until the last second and then transitions to the next slide. Is there a better way?

I would like to record a software simulation to include the demo, training and assessment. At present this creates the three captivate files. Ideally I would like to include a title slide, and introductory slide and a menu slide which can navigate to the different elements of the software simulation.

Hi there… I have a software simulation project with.wav audio on each slide and it works *perfectly* EXCEPT when I publish it to an LMS the audio doesn’t play on the first slide; it plays fine on the rest of them, but not on the first one. I have tried almost everything but I can’t figure this out.

However to record a Video Demo or a Software simulation you did have to edit the AdobeCaptivate.ini file. While loop.
