Y R Some Vendors confused about e-learning?

Are there vendors in the e-learning space who lack basic understanding around e-learning? Lastly, if the vendors, organizations and firms whose whole background, expertise and existence is tied to e-learning and they themselves are not fully understanding it, does this bode well for the industry as a whole?

E-Learning Screen recording and video solutions – Should b simple, so why isn’t it?

for end users to see in the final product. The ability to record audio in real time or post time makes a lot of sense and eliminates the need for using Audacity (albeit it is a wonderful and free product). There are more vendors who do not offer the ability to post – i.e. add audio afterwards it is quite amazing.

What I am hearing and seeing in E-Learning

It comes from me talking to vendors, buyers, monitoring the industry all the while taking notes and seeing the trends/patterns appear right before my eyes. Web site stinks = product stinks. What has always amazed me are number of e-learning vendor web sites whose design looks like it came from 1995 when Netscape ruled the land.

They train you on how to use the product. You would think that all LMS vendors would have people whose background is in technical training or heck even training. Have a walkthrough on how to use the product with fellow new customers. Training person. Sigh, this is not always the case. Something I totally hate. What is it?
