Another way to get the text into your slide is by reading it out loud to transcribe it and insert into your slide. Use PowerPoint to Transcribe Text for HTML5 E-Learning. Here’s another free PowerPoint template that you’re free to use in your online training courses. The free template is structure to slide up and down as you navigate. Essentially they’re just slides with numbered circles. If you need additional slides, just duplicate them.

This is fine until you need to make a change to the slide and the colors aren’t updating when you change the theme color. Our template developers have a simple technique to check the theme colors and make sure that they’re used throughout the various template slides. Everything on the slide should be bright yellow.

There’s a PowerPoint version and one for Articulate Storyline 2 that offers a lot more interactivity. You’ll also notice that there’s a big difference between a PowerPoint-based template and one created in Articulate Storyline. PowerPoint is generally a linear presentation product. That’s something not possible in PowerPoint.

My initial inclination was to build something in PowerPoint or Google slides, but I switched to Rise 360 and haven’t looked back. Creating the presentation in Rise 360 is just as fast as creating a slide. With Rise 360, I spend less time constructing the layout because I’m not starting with an empty slide.
