Because video is, apparently, a perfect manifestation of social learning theory. My learning philosophy: dont make people tote around loads of information in their heads just so you can say you trained them. all factors the adult learner considers when deciding their learning programs and what they intend to glean from it.

In my opinion, it’s not that providing on-demand learning and performance solutions is a new idea. What is new, however, is the ratio of on-demand solutions to more traditional training offerings. There is no central network the learners can access. Particularly for those communities formed online or in close proximity.

Medical students and residents regularly learn new skills by first observing a procedure, then practicing the procedure under supervision, and finally teaching, or modeling, the procedure for another.
