One of my favorite strategies when working with complicated branching and quizzing in projects is to turn off the playbar on key slides via the variable  cpCmdShowPlayBar  (assign with 0 to turn off, 1 to turn on). Choose  Quiz Preferences > Settings  and select  Hide Playbar In Quiz.

Adding quiz questions to an Adobe Captivate Classic project is easy. Go to the Quiz menu and choose Question Slide. Now, you need to add the content to the quiz question and set the point value. If there are more than a few quiz questions, that will take time. You can import the quiz questions.

On the quiz results slide: I need to display (show) a “Continue” button when the learner passes the quiz. The Continue button will move the learner to the final slide of the project which is just simple “congratulations” message and some simple directions.

  When adding question slides to a project, you can insert graded questions, survey questions (questions that do not have a right or wrong answer), Pretest questions (questions with right and wrong answers that can be worth points, but are not graded along with regular question slides), and now, Knowledge Check Slides.

In the past, if you created an eLearning quiz and needed to track the results, your only option was to use a Learning Management System (LMS). After that, you can use the Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyzer, a free AIR-based desktop application, to track the learner results. Configure Acrobat.com as an LMS and Upload Quiz Data.

The most recent release of Captivate allows to use those assets in two different type of projects: either a full VR project, or on individual slides in a normal cptx project.   If you're using Adobe Captivate 5 there's a handy dandy SlideNumbering widget that lets you put the slide count on any/all of your project slides using the format you like (e.g. slide x of y, this is page x, etc). For either Captivate 4 or Captivate 5 developers, place the slide counting object on Slide 1.

I have a project under way in which I will add the same kind of functionality in Captivate. She talks, moves, points, and discusses text that appears on the slide with her.

I’m unable to exit the settings interface with the OK button after disabling the “Allow Review Quiz” in the Publish Settings > Quiz > Settings menu. This CPTX file was created as a Template first, then customized to show a Quiz Results slide. Is this a bug?

On a slide, select Insert | 360° Image. Then choose the “Edit 360° Image” button in the middle of the slide. Because this type of interaction may differ from the rest of the course, consider including an introduction slide that explains what the learner is supposed to do before they get to the 360° image slide.

She was hoping there was an elegant way to hide the playbar on specific slides. Certainly you can use the Skin Editor to remove the playbar completely from a project. Alternatively, if you don't want the playbar to be available during a quiz, there are Quiz Preferences for that. and all of the subsequent slides.
