Cammy Beans Learning Visions: e-Learning Content & Version Control

Learning Visions

Wednesday, August 01, 2007 e-Learning Content & Version Control Earlier this week, Janet Clarey wrote about the " Preservation of e-Learning Content." After reading Janets post, I talked with our CTO about some ways that we could build a little bit of "version control" into our Flash Course Development Templates. More likely, if they dont have version control tools, its because they havent even thought about it. I suppose most LMS/LCMS keep track of versions on some levels.

Cammy Beans Learning Visions: Audio in eLearning: When Rough Around the Edges is Better

Learning Visions

Tuesday, June 09, 2009 Audio in eLearning: When Rough Around the Edges is Better At our seminar today on using Articulate and Moodle and "Doing More for Less" , the conversation turned (as it always does) to using audio in eLearning. They had the SME record the audio for the slides. Im not sure if the SME was reading a script, reading the notes, or just speaking from the heart. So thats one version. So thats the second version.

Im no Facebook super-user and I havent experienced a huge time suck from it, but I suppose its possible. Cammy, Im just a "lite" Facebook user, but I have seen profile pages that list their workplaces with commentary about how horrible their company is, or how much they hate their job. So Im not sure the issue is people leaking secret information, but maybe just companies afraid of being bad-mouthed. And Im in complete agreement.
