Help! What software tool should I use to record audio?

Audio can add a great deal to the quality of your course. While generally beneficial, voice-over audio is particularly important for auditory learners (those who remember best when they hear the information), those learners who may struggle with reading, those for whom English (or the course’s target language) is not their native language, and those who may enjoy listening to your course while multitasking (commuting, exercising, etc.). I need to record simple voice-only audio.

PowerPoint 2007 & 2010: How to Extract Audio & Images from a Presentation

Often the presentation is given to you as a.ppt or.pptx file and does not have separate audio or image files. While there is no way from within PowerPoint to directly extract audio and image files from a presentation, there is a workaround. Open the ppt folder. All of the sound and image files used in the presentation will be inside this folder. Check back next week for an alternate method for extracting audio and images in PowerPoint. by AJ George.
