Richard Nantel of Brandon Hall recently posted about average LMS prices. Because it’s open source, there are no licensing costs. According to an eLearning Guild survey conducted in 2007 , 18% of corporations are using Moodle now. A ‘low-cost’ LMS starts at an average of $58K. That’s the low price.

Low Cost LMS - Help Needed

Situation description: I have talked to several vendors and have received quotes at the 6-8k (per year) range for the licensing. Also, my guess is that looking at License costs is probably a bad idea here since quite often there are services, hosting, etc. costs that can exceed license costs. I'll try to aggregate them together.
