That said, just as a reminder: Here is how these new rankings will work throughout 2013: Debut this month, update in July, final top 25 in Dec. Vendors can move up, down or out of the rankings – after all it is on-going.

A vendor says “elearning course” ignoring that it really has a hyphen between the e and the l. I never understood why a vendor does this. Why can’t a vendor simply say video? A lot of vendors will list the publisher of the content, as if some learner says, “Holy Moly – you have IT skills?

On Fire in 2013 – What’s going to be hot in e-learning

Open Source LMSs Facts and Insight

Docebo is on some of these sites noting “free” with open source mentioned. Docebo did at one time, offer free open source, but that was nearly a decade ago, and it hasn’t been such a way, in uh, like a decade ago. Here is a sampling of those vendors on the (“Alternative to Moodle).

LXP – The Answers you seek

The way a 3rd party content provider works with an LXP (or any learning system that offers a marketplace) is that they have a partnership agreement – allowing the vendor to have them in their marketplace. For example, GO1 has provided five courses/content in the past for free for some vendors. The first vendor to do this?
