It reminds me of mobile learning, which only meant that you could access the vendor’s system via your mobile browser. It never meant that the learning system had a mobile app, let alone on/off synch.

Perhaps a better way to say this is that if we go by their track record during 2020 with remote learning (edtech’s term, not mine), I’d say pretty dismal. Tapping into gaming thru skill-building and applying those skills to other content items they would have access to online.

Reminds me of the folks who never knew that Madden was a great football coach, and not just the name of a video game. One comes to mind right away, with mobile. Mobile Learning First – Here is something that might shock you, but most of the vendors who say their are mobile learning first, do not have an on/off synch in their native apps. A few do not have a mobile app. And, every system can be seen in a mobile web browser. Not at a baseball game. 10 please.

While PWA is a very good alternative to having native on/off mobile apps, I understand that it is something that just a lot of vendors will not do, and I get that. I still see it as a NexGen Tier 2 function, but one that is more likely by 2020. . Mobile is great, with on/off synch, native apps. Everyone is a Winner.

Mobile is nice. . They skin the mobile app to your colors/logo – which is very, very cool (and not common at all in the space). #8 Games kids can play? Has a CPD mobile app, which is rare. Growth has mobile apps, but admitted they were unhappy with how they looked and running, so they are doing a complete overhaul.
