Similar thoughts are often associated with SumTotal (although they have vastly improved their UI, but they do see themselves at least from my take, and even through a Google search as a HCM, especially after the acquisition by Skillsoft), SuccessFactors, Oracle Learn, Saba, Kenexa and a few others. It can make or break any product.

SumTotal by Skillsoft. According to a source, SumTotal is coming out with a new revamped version – including UI in 2016. My source tells me that this new version is in production as we speak. I have reached out to SumTotal about seeing this latest version in the next few weeks. What I heard and saw.

A learning tool, should be well, a form of learning technology, not just a product that is for say e-mail, that is used because we send learning URLs in it, or we take courses on the subject or we can send invites to web conferences in it. . Apple Smartwatch. Social Media is questionable too. Yeah, I’m lost here.

I spent the past year, seeing a lot of systems, products, tools; attended a few trade shows (that should be a future category), observed trends of this and that, and whalla, the list. . When someone says traditional, they often are referring to Cornerstone, SumTotal, Saba, SuccessFactors and alike. Learning System. Methodology.

Apple is poised to take advantage of the learning, education and social media. See Apple's Modality Learning. iPhone learning production - the basics are easy enough. But the production could be as easy as 1-2-3 as shown below. Of course, just anything else, if the content is bad, the learning will be bad.

Why are some vendors treating you as a spy or something sinister when you just want to try out the product? You would think that with over 140 authoring tools on the market, vendors would want you to try out their product before dropping any type of cash. In October 2012, Apple claimed that one in five laptops/desktops sold in the U.S.

Even some of the folks who have an app in the Apple store or Android store, follows a similar pattern. To see the modules, select “products” Ideal for higher education and academia, it packs a whallop. The product offers a nice set of modules, but alas, only the two above are free. It shows up in your browser.
