When developing a basis of my evaluations, I derive some of my factors from the ASTD Certification Institute’s, E-Learning Courseware Certification Standards that was released in the early part of the century. I do not think the ASTD quality certification program exists. Are learning objectives clear to the learner?

I just typed "Life is an Open Book Test" when I was working on part of my ASTD 2008 presentation. For example, Google-411 or Google Info. My 10 year old recently went through the exercise of learning all the capitals of the 50 US States. I did a quick search on this phrase and found only 52 occurrences.

This month's ASTD Big Question is, again, a series of questions. Using that technique, I will open up a piece of software or google a term with no real objective just a need to "learn more about" a particular term, item or piece of software. Apparently one BIG question is not enough for the learning and development community.
