I saw a lot more folks than in previous shows and more e-learning vendors too. Equally there were several ILT vendors who had some type of online learning thing going on. Seminars in general – As with any show, there was good seminars, average and downright awful. Some of the seminars.

Each time I attend there are a lot of decision makers rumbling around seeking out vendors, wanting to start communication and scheduling demos, meetings, etc. Sure there were some LMS vendors there, but sheesh, there should have been a lot more. And authoring tool vendors? The train station and airport are connected to it.

If you plan to track or have instructor led training, then this is relevant. Do you offer the ability to have people sign up for multiple seminars within the system? Can you tie it to your e-commerce (if you have it in your system), so when people register and their is a fee, they pay it? . Where do the seminars, etc.

For the vendors who offer this option, they go about it in a couple of ways. and another seminar at 9 a.m. As the Director of Training, you want to hold webinars or conferences. Typically with licenses – a lot of vendors do not enable you to have the multiple rooms at the same time – i.e. concurrent.

Vendors nowadays provide training early on after you get the product, and then assume that the person will remember everything weeks later. Most people who create courses these days, do not have any instructional design or even training background. Do you have someone who can jump in quickly, and create some type of course?

Automatically add next person in line if the person above drops out or decides not to attend the event (seminar, webinar, meeting, whatever), plus auto notification via e-mail. Scheduling simplicity – it shouldn’t take someone with a doctorate in genetics to figure out how to sign up for a seminar or whatever.
