As you know, Text-to-Speech is something that's very interesting to me and Joel knows a lot about it as CEO of Tuval Software Industries maker of Speech-Over Professional. This software adds text-to-speech voice narration to PowerPoint presentations and is used for training and eLearning at major corporations.

Captivate 4 introduced text to speech (TTS) technology in Rapid eLearning authoring. Given the adoption and feedback, in Captivate 5 we’ve introduced more voices. Joel Harband wrote a series of articles for my blog on Text-to-Speech in eLearning. Text-to-Speech Examples Text-to-Speech Costs – Licensing and Pricing But what I learned from this was that it was a fantastic way to learn about a topic where I was interested but didn’t have the time to spend researching it.
